Started in Skaneateles, NY, we have been serving fresh quality food since 1982. Our seafood is delivered by truck on crushed ice five days per week. Our family cozy atmosphere, fair prices, clean restrooms, and friendly employees welcome you to the original Skaneateles and Cortland Fish Fry. We have a compact menu – seafood, chicken, grilled items, beer, wine, and ice cream. Don’t be afraid if you see a line, it moves fast and it’s worth the wait.
The Place on Route 281
Doug's sits on Route 281 in Cortland — not fancy, not trying to be. College kids, local families, and highway road-trippers pull in expecting a quick bite and leave as converts.

A Second Home in Skaneateles
The Finger Lakes location brought Doug's to a charming lakeside village, complete with a colorful seascape mural and a working train set winding overhead — guests have driven from Chicago just to sit under it and eat that fish.
