BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Fish fanatics in Greater Binghamton can now sample seafood from one of the most famous fish fries in Central New York.
Customers waited in lines all day to get a taste of Doug's Fish Fry.
This mobile unit set up shop here on Vestal Parkway across from Binghamton University.
With only 2 restaurants located in Central New York...
Fish lovers say they cannot get enough fried Haddock when it comes to town.
"The last time I was here at Doug's Fish Fry, they ran out of fish after 550 pounds. And he was good enough to give everyone in line a fresh fish dinner. I missed it last week, they honored my dinner today. Now you tell me why I shouldn't come back. He's got good fish," says Jim Hoffman of Conklin.
The restaurant says it's not likely to open in this area...
But it will be in town every Friday in November.
