Business owners hoping Jets provide boom
Mark Braun, the owner of the Cortland Doug's Fish Fry restaurant, has been a Jets fan for 33 years, and a season ticket holder for 14.
He makes it to almost every home game.
To show his excitement, Braun is going to order Doug's Fish Fry T-shirts that are green, and the back will say “Doug’s Fish Fry Welcomes the New York Jets.”
Staff will wear them, along with Jets hats, every day of the training camp.
“I'm hoping maybe some players or coaches might find it to stop here once or twice. That'd be a dream come true,” says Braun.
Mark will be among three generations of men in his family attending the training camp. He predicts they'll be more Jets fans in central New York, after experiencing the team up close and personal.
